In cases where
delay is anticipated in the forwarding of Pension proposals to the
Accountant-General the Head of Office (in the case of non-gazetted Government
Servants) Head of the Department (in the case of Gazetted Government Servants)
may arrange for payment of Provisional Pension / DCRG.

Provisional DCRG may be sanctioned to a Government
Servant against whom a departmental or judicial proceedings pending involving
pecuniary loss to Government a portion of gratuity may be authorised.

Payment of Provisional pension / DCRG made shall
be adjusted against the final retirement benefits.
