Order:

In the reference first read above, the Government of India have enacted the Right to Information Act, 2005 in order to provide the public, the right of access to information about the Administration and to enable them to get information of the Government under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

2. In the reference second read above, Thiru S.Gangadharan, Deputy Secretary to Government was appointed as the State Public Information Officer and Dr.Santhosh Babu, IAS, Joint Secretary to Government as Appellate Authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005 as far as Rural Development Department is concerned. Since, Thiru S.Gangadharan, Deputy Secretary to Government was transferred from this department, Thiru U.Ahamed Meeran Mohideen, Deputy Secretary to Government(B) is appointed as State Public Information Officer and Dr.Santhosh Babu, IAS., Joint Secretary to Government will continue as Appellate Authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005 so far as Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department is concerned.
