It is payable to a Government Servant required by
the appointing authority to retire in public interest.

The appropriate authority is of the opinion that
it is the public interest so to do, have the absolute right to retire any
Government Servant

A notice to a Government Servant in writing shall
be given of not less than 3 months or three months pay and allowances in lieu
of such notice.
-
The notice may be issued to a Government Servant
at any time after he attains 50 years of age for superior service and 55
years of age in the case of basic service or after completion of 30 years of
qualifying service.

No service weightage is admissible in this kind of
retirement
