Encashment
of Earned Leave |

The retiring Government Servant is eligible for
encashment of Earned leave at credit at the time of retirement subject to a
maximum of 240 days
-
Half of the Unearned leave on Private affairs at
credit subject to a maximum of 90 days
-
The retiring Government Servant need not submit
any application for getting the encashment benefit
-
The monetary eligibility for encashment includes
Pay + Grade Pay, Special Pay, Personal Pay plus other allowances except uniform allowance,
washing allowance, hill allowance, conveyance allowance and cash allowance.
